Combined CV Sales Decline by 5.80% Compared to June 2024
Ashok Leyland, a key player in India’s commercial vehicle industry, has announced its sales figures for June 2025. The company registered total sales of 12,161 units (domestic + export), witnessing a year-on-year (YoY) decline of 5.80% compared to 12,910 units sold in June 2024.

Domestic CV Sales Witness 6% Decline in June 2025
In the domestic market, Ashok Leyland sold 11,869 units in June 2025 as compared to 12,626 units in June 2024. This indicates a 6% drop in domestic CV performance.
Segment-wise Domestic Sales:
M&HCV (Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles):
Sales in the M&HCV segment stood at 6,554 units, down from 7,417 units in June 2024 — reflecting a 12% decline.
LCV (Light Commercial Vehicles):
The LCV segment showed slight growth. Sales rose by 2%, with 5,315 units sold in June 2025 compared to 5,209 units in June 2024.

Export Sales Register Positive Growth in June 2025
Ashok Leyland recorded total export sales of 292 units in June 2025 as against 284 units in June 2024. This represents a YoY growth of 2.82%.

M&HCV Export:
Export sales in this category showed strong growth. Ashok Leyland exported 103 units in June 2025 versus 72 units in June 2024, achieving a 43% increase.
LCV Export:
On the other hand, the LCV export segment declined by 11%, with sales falling from 212 units in June 2024 to 189 units in June 2025.

Ashok Leyland sold a combined 6,657 M&HCV units in June 2025, compared to 7,489 units in June 2024 — reflecting a decline of 11%.
LCV (Domestic + Export):
The total sales of LCVs (domestic + export) grew by 2%, reaching 5,504 units in June 2025 from 5,421 units in the same month last year.
Despite the overall dip in total CV sales, Ashok Leyland's positive growth in LCVs and M&HCV exports highlights the brand’s continued efforts in strengthening its product portfolio across diverse markets. The company remains committed to delivering reliable and performance-driven commercial vehicles both in India and overseas.
