The marketplace will assist the customers in exchanging their used commercial vehicles and upgrading them to new trucks and buses from Ashok Leyland.
The Commercial Vehicle manufacturer giant Ashok Leyland has launched its internet marketplace, “Re-AL”, for used commercial vehicles. This marketplace will also offer customers various tools to help them find the vehicle of their choice. They will provide verified images of the vehicle, documents, and evaluation reports of different parameters. They are also giving easier options to the seller while listing their vehicles for liquidation.
In December 2022, The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) executed an amendment to the Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR). This amendment was done to regularize the used vehicle dealers to get the authorization certificate. The respective RTO will issue the certificate under whose jurisdiction their business comes. MoRTH was set to operate this new process of execution of new laws from the online sub-portal from the 1st of April.
