Combined Domestic & Export CV Sales of Ashok Leyland Grow by 2.73%

Ashok Leyland, a top commercial vehicle manufacturer in India, revealed its sales data for February 2025, showcasing growth in both domestic and export markets. The company recorded an overall growth of 2.73% compared to February 2024.

In the domestic market, Ashok Leyland reported a slight decline in sales of 1.57%, with 14,137 units sold in February 2025 compared to 14,363 units in February 2024.

The M&HCV segment witnessed a 3% decline, selling 8,368 units in February 2025 compared to 8,656 units in February 2024. However, the LCV category showed a modest growth of 1%, recording 5,769 units sold compared to 5,707 units in the previous year.

Ashok Leyland's export sales increased significantly, by 111.25% overall. The M&HCV export category saw a significant rise of 206.08%, with 554 units sold in February 2025 compared to 181 units in February 2024.

In contrast, the LCV export category also performed well, witnessing a growth of 67.01%. In February 2025, 648 units were sold, up from 388 units in February 2024.

The gross commercial vehicle sales, including both domestic and export markets, showed an overall growth of 2.73%. Ashok Leyland sold 15,339 units in February 2025 compared to 14,932 units in February 2024.

The M&HCV segment recorded a 1% growth, with 8,922 units sold in February 2025 versus 8,837 units in February 2024. Meanwhile, the LCV segment saw a 5% increase, with sales rising to 6,417 units in February 2025 from 6,095 units in February 2024.
