The July 2023 CV Sales Report for Ashok Leyland was just made public. It had to contend with an overall 9% growth in sales across the domestic and export sectors.
Ashok Leyland CV Sales observed total sales of 13,534 units in this period, compared to 12,420 units in July 2022. The company ended July with a 9.06% sales increase in the domestic market. It faced a rapid sales increase of 6.62% in the export market.

However, it has also experienced a 3% decrease in sales in the LCV category. Truck Sales Report, July 2023, sold 7,834 M&HCV, compared to 6,596 in July 2022. The segment of LCV saw a sale of 5,233 units in July 2023, compared to 5,386 units in May 2022.
Ashok Leyland Export Sales Report
According to July Ashok Leyland Export Commercial Vehicle Sales Statistics 2023, a great sales increase of 6.62% was seen. It observed 467 units sold in July 2023, compared to 438 in July 2022. The brand noticed a remarkable sales increase of 190.10% in the LCV category.
However, it faced a sales decline of 41.40% in the M&HCV category. Under the M&HCV vehicles, the company sold 203 units in July 2023, compared to 347 in July 2022. The LCV category highlighted sales of 264 units in July 2023, compared to 91 units in July 2022.
Gross (Domestic + Export) Sales Data
Ashok Leyland Gross Commercial Vehicle Sales Figures May 2023 experienced a slight sales increase of 9%. It observed sales of 13,534 units in July 2023, compared to 12,420 in July 2022. The company registered a slight sales increase of 16% in the category of M&HCV.
However, in the LCV for July 2023, it faced zero units. Under the M&HCV Truck category, 8,037 CVs were sold in July 2023, compared to 6,943 CVs in July 2022. Within the LCV category, 5,497 CVs were sold in July 2023, compared to 5,477 CVs in July 2022.
