Ashok Leyland Experienced 18.34% Gain in February 2023 Sales

The brand has sold 16,113 units in the domestic market against the 12,862 units of February 2022, with a growth of 25.27%.

Ashok Leyland, the flagship firm of Hinduja Group, has released the sales report for February 2023. The truck sales data of the brand shows that they have created good overall sales. However, the Export sales of the company could have gone better. According to the Ashok Leyland Truck Sales Report February 2023, the brand sold 16,272 units of commercial vehicles which were 18.34% higher than the February 2022 sales of 13,750 units. 

Let’s take a look at the Ashok Leyland Truck sales statistics for 2023

Truck Sales in India:-

Ashok Leyland sold 16,113 units of commercial vehicles in the Indian market, which stayed at 12,862 units in February last year. As a result, the total sales growth was 25.27%. If we look at the segment-wise sales, the truck sales figure 2023 says a positive growth. The M&HCV segment sold 10312 units in February 2023, which was 7861 units in the same month last year. The segment grew 31.17%. In addition, the LCV segment made a sales of 5801 units in February, whereas, in February 2022, the segment sold 5001. The YoY growth of the segment was 16%. 

Export Sales Data:- 

The export sales of the company showed a decline of 82.09%. The segment sold 159 units of commercial vehicles in February 2023, which was 888 in February 2022. The M&HCV segment recorded 57 selling units in February 2023 and 595 in February 2022. As a result, the sales of this segment declined by 90.42%. Also, the LCV segment of the brand sold 102 units of commercial vehicles against 293 units, resulting in negative sales of -65.18%. 

Export Truck Sales Report February 2023:-

The overall sales (Domestic + Export) registered a growth of 18.34%. The M&HCV segment sold 10369 units which were 8456 in February last year, increasing 23%. Also, the LCV segment sold 5903 units in February 2023 against 5294, with a 12% gain in sales. As a result, the brand sold 16,272 overall sales registering 18.34% against the 13,750 units of February 2022.
