According to a Monday report, Ashok Leyland registered a 2% down in total commercial vehicle sales to 12,518 Units in December 2021.
On Monday, Ashok Leyland, part of Hinduja Group, reported a 2% drop in total commercial vehicles sales to 12,518 units in December 2021. Instead, the company sold 12,518 units of commercial vehicles in December 2020.
Unfortunately, Ashok Leyland’s domestic sales declined 3% to 11,493 units in December 2021 as against 11,855 units in December 2020, the company said.
However, the total sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles of Ashok Leyland increased 9% to 6,752 units in December 2021, as against 6,173 units in December 2020, the company added.
According to the company, the total sales of light commercial vehicles of Ashok Leyland in the domestic market declined 17% to 4,741 units compared to 5,682 units in December 2020.
