Bajaj GoGo P7012 Drives Bajaj Auto to No.1 Spot in Electric 3-Wheeler Market

Bajaj Auto has reached the top position in the electric three-wheeler market in India in April 2025. This success comes after a strong response to its new electric auto, the Bajaj GoGo P7012. The company now holds a 36% market share in the electric three-wheeler segment, thanks to the popularity of this model.

According to Vahan portal data, Bajaj Auto sold 5,506 electric three-wheelers in April. This is a big jump for the brand, which entered the electric 3-wheeler market less than two years ago. The sales include both passenger and cargo models, but the P7012 passenger variant received the most attention from customers.

Bajaj GoGo P7012: A Game Changer

The Bajaj GoGo P7012 comes with many advanced features. It offers a 251 km range, two-speed automatic transmission, and a full-metal body. It also has a spacious cabin for better comfort.

In terms of safety, the vehicle includes features like Hill Hold Assist, Anti-Roll Detection, and Auto Hazard Lights. Bajaj also provides a 5-year battery warranty, which gives buyers peace of mind.

Moreover, buyers can choose the Premium TecPac option. This pack includes smart features such as reverse assist, remote immobilisation, and other connected tools.

Strong Presence in Both ICE and EV Markets

Bajaj Auto already leads the ICE three-wheeler market with a 74% share in FY25. Now, with the GoGo series, the brand is making a similar mark in the electric vehicle space.

Samardeep Subandh, president of the Intracity Business Unit, shared the company’s thoughts: “Within just two months, Bajaj GoGo has helped us lead in the EV space. This shows the strength of the product and the trust in the Bajaj name.”
