A Grand Start with Enthusiastic Visitors

Sunday, January 19, 2025, New Delhi: The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 opened its doors to the public, attracting a massive crowd across its three venues: Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, and the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. Visitors explored groundbreaking technologies and innovative mobility solutions showcased by top brands.

The event also featured over 22 product launches on the first day of the Bharat Battery Show and Urban Mobility Infrastructure Show at the India Expo Centre & Mart. At Yashobhoomi, six new automotive products and solutions were presented during "The Components Show."

First Two Days: Major Commercial Vehicle Launches 

The first two days of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 saw significant launches from top brands, showcasing the future of mobility. Tata Motors unveiled an impressive lineup, including the Ace ProIntra EV PickupPrima H.28Ultra E.12Yodha CNG RMC, and Prima G.55S. Other exciting launches included the Montra EviatorEicher Pro 8035XM Electric TipperSwitch IeV8Ashok Leyland SaathiEKA 55T, and the Isuzu D-Max Electric Concept. These launches highlighted a strong focus on electric and alternative fuel vehicles, signalling a shift toward sustainable mobility solutions.

SAFAR Summit on Road Safety

On the third day, SIAM organised the SAFAR (Summit for Automotive Future Advancement in Road Safety) at Bharat Mandapam. Themed "United Efforts for Road Safety: Safer Roads, Our Responsibility," the summit fostered discussions on innovative road safety solutions. Maruti Suzuki India set up a VR-based driving simulator to educate attendees about safe driving practices as part of their CSR initiative.

Bharat Battery Show Highlights

The Bharat Battery Show debuted with 88 exhibitors and more than 10 product launches. Leading companies like Amara Raja unveiled plans for a giga corridor to manufacture lithium-ion batteries. Senior officials from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Heavy Industries, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Ministry of Commerce and Industry were present to support the event.

Tyre Innovations at the Expo

Ceat showcased off-road and all-terrain tyres for SUVs, two-wheelers, and agricultural vehicles. Michelin introduced revolutionary concepts, including airless radial tyres for heavy vehicles and 3D-printable tyres that adapt to different terrains like snow, sand, and hills.

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is India’s largest mobility event, uniting automotive, e-mobility, and urban mobility industries under one roof. Running from January 17-22 across three venues Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi, and India Expo Centre & Mart—the event spans over 200,000 square meters, with more than 1,500 exhibitors and 500,000 visitors.

Inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the expo showcases India’s mobility value chain through nine concurrent shows, 20+ conferences, and pavilions focused on sustainability and decarbonisation.
