EV Charging Leader Reaches 13,500 Stations to Support Electric Commercial Vehicles
ChargeZone has now become the largest electric vehicle charging network in India, with over 13,500 charging stations. This major growth supports India’s push towards cleaner transportation, especially in the electric commercial vehicle sector.
One App for All EV Charging Needs
To make this possible, ChargeZone teamed up with many EV charging companies like Statiq, Bolt, Kazam, Pulse Energy, Chargemod, ElectreeFi, and Evnnovator. These partnerships, based on OCPI roaming technology, allow users to access all chargers through one single app. So now, whether someone drives an electric car, electric pickup, electric truck, or even a 3-wheeler, they can easily find a charger nearby.
Serving Electric Cars, Trucks, Pickups, and 3-Wheelers
According to ChargeZone, about 70% of India’s electric vehicle users have already used its platform. The network now supports more than 8,000 users every day and has seen over 2.5 lakh app downloads. This includes not just personal EVs, but also electric pickups, electric trucks, and electric 3-wheelers that are often used for deliveries and transport.
Wide Range of Chargers for All Needs
ChargeZone offers different types of chargers. It has AC chargers of 3.3kW, 7.4kW, and 10kW that are useful in cities. For highways and transport hubs, it provides DC fast chargers from 30kW to 360kW. These fast chargers can charge most EVs up to 80% in just 30 minutes, which is helpful for commercial EVs that run long distances.
Charging Locations Across Cities and Highways
The company has currently installed charging stations at over 400 locations in India and the UAE. These include metro cities, smaller towns, highways, and important travel routes. This is especially useful for electric commercial vehicles that need reliable charging while on the move.
A Big Step Towards India's EV Future
Founded in Vadodara, Gujarat, ChargeZone is working on smart-grid charging solutions for all types of EVs including electric buses, trucks, pickups, and 3-wheelers. Its aim is to set up one million charging points in India in the future. This expansion comes at a time when the Government of India is encouraging EV adoption through schemes like FAME and other incentives.
With better charging access, more people and businesses might switch to EVs, helping India move closer to its clean mobility goals.
