Commercial Vehicles Retail Sales Grow 89.04% in June 2022

Tata Motors again stayed on the top Position with 27,829 units

The FADA(Federation of Automobiles Dealers) commercial vehicles sales report has been released and it shows that the customers are returning back to the market. The total growth of the CV sector was reported at 89.04% with 67,696 sold units. 

Brand-Wise Sales Data:- All the Commercial Vehicles brands are on the green run this year, as every month they are crossing their sales on yearly basis with heavy margins . So let's check out the detailed representation of their sales. 

 

Tata Motors:-  Tata Motors , India's most significant commercial vehicles brand, again topped the chart with its excellent performance. The brand sold 27,829 units of commercial vehicles, gaining 98.59% of its 14,013 units last year, June 2021. As a result, the market share of this brand closed at 41.11%.

Mahindra & Mahindra:- The retail sales of Mahindra & Mahindra recorded a growth of 73.26% with 15,950 sold units, whereas the units sold in June 2021 were 9,206. The market  Mahindra target is 2T to 3.5T vehicles, and the company saw enormous growth in that segment. 

Ashok Leyland:-Ashok Leyland maintained their rank for yet another month. The company sold 10,105 units and increased 120.5% in their sales data compared to the 4,583 units in June '21. In addition, the company is running well with their increase in export sales. 

VECV:- VECV or Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles, the joint venture of Volvo Motors and Eicher Motors. The group sold 4,509 units, gaining 130.04% in their sales. To be noted, the company sold 1,957 units in the same month last year. As a result of this 120% increase, the company's market share reached 6.66%. 

Maruti Suzuki:-  Maruti Suzuki is a renowned brand, and this company has also established its feet in the commercial vehicles segment. The company recorded sales of 2,730 vehicles and a gain of 51.5% in the Y-o-Y sales. Moreover, with the launch of India's first hybrid pickup, which can operate with Petrol and CNG fuels, the company is changing the way of looking at CVs. 

Daimler:- Daimler, which sells its products in India under the name BharatBenz, reported a growth of 47.03% in its sales. The group sold 1,088 units of CV this June, which was low in June '21 and closed at 740 units. 

Force Motors:- Force Motors is one of India's best brands, famous for its SCV segment vehicles. The company grew their sales by 42.89% with 1,086 units which were 760 units last June. 

SML Isuzu:- SML Isuzu recorded the highest gain for the second Y-o-Y sales in the row, and the data shows a yield of 226.01% in June 2022. The company sold 965 commercial vehicles, which stayed at 296 units in the June of 2021. 

The part of sales covered by all the Other companies was also on the positive side, the sales number of the other firms was 3,434 this June which was 2,453 units last June. As a result, they recorded a total gain of 40% in Y-o-Y sales.
