The company's total sales of Eicher Trucks & Buses in May 2021 was 1175 units compared to 661 units in May 2020.
VECV (VE Commercial Vehicles), the unrecorded subsidiary of the company, sold 1,223 vehicles in May 2021, up 78.3% compared with 686 vehicles sold in May 2020.
The company's total national sales at 656 vehicles as against 430 vehicles in May 2020. Its total exports added LMD, Bus and HD, stood at 519 vehicles in May 2021, as per the filing.

The stock closed at Rs. 2665.60, down by Rs. 10.95 or 0.41% from its early closing of Rs. 2676.55 on the BSE.
Meantime, Eicher Ltd recorded a 33.16% YoY increase in consolidated exclusive sales revenues for the Mar-21 quarter at Rs. 2940.33 crore on a steady basis, the top line income was up 3.96% compared to Rs. 2828.26 crore in the steady Dec-20 quarter. The entire line got a lift from the Royal Enfield market showing solid growth and the VECV JV market.
Operating gain for the quarter was up 57.6% at Rs. 509.59 crore, principally on the back of more outstanding EBITDA addition from the Royal Enfield market and lower another income component in the current quarter.
