A Major Step Towards Advanced Electric Vehicles
EKA Mobility and KPIT Technologies have joined hands to develop electric powertrain components for commercial vehicles. This partnership aims to improve the performance, efficiency, and sustainability of electric buses and trucks in India. The announcement was made at the Bharat Mobility Expo in New Delhi, held from January 18 to 22, 2025.
Focus on Electric Powertrain Technologies
The collaboration will work on developing key electric powertrain systems, including:
- Traction motors
- Controllers
- Vehicle control units
- Battery management systems
These components will be integrated into EKA’s electric buses and commercial vehicles, making them more efficient and reliable.
Strengthening India's EV Sector
Dr. Sudhir Mehta, Founder & Chairman of EKA Mobility and Pinnacle Industries Limited, shared his thoughts on the partnership.
