Shekhawat highlighted that this project fulfills a long-standing demand of the local population and will provide enhanced safety and convenience for city commuters.
The new corridor is strategically important as it connects with the existing Ring Road of Jodhpur, bridging NH-62 and NH-125, which currently run through the heart of the city.
