Good news for Mahindra customers. The company announces a "Get More Mileage or Give Truck Back" guarantee scheme for its entire BS6 truck range.
On Monday, Mahindra Truck & Bus (MTB) company, a subsidiary of Mahindra Group, announced the "Get More Mileage or Give Truck Back" guarantee scheme for its complete BS6 truck range. Mahindra BS6 truck range includes 3.5 Tonnes to 55 Tonnes trucks which contain HCV Blazo X, IVC Furio, and LCVs Furio 7 and Jaya range.
Mahindra first announced the mileage guarantee scheme on Blazo trucks in 2016. The company said that the guarantee scheme would apply to the complete range of Mahindra BS6 trucks, including HCV, ICV and LCV.
Veejay Nakra, chief executive officer (automotive sector) of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, said, "The 'Get More Mileage or Give Truck Back' guarantee scheme for the Mahindra trucks range is the landmark step for the LCV, ICV and HCV industry. As fuel prices are rising, there could not have been a better time to announce this customer value proposition.
This scheme will reaffirm its customers' confidence in Mahindra's ability to create technologically advanced, class-leading products and set high standards for the Indian CV industry, reflecting its commitment to the segment, Nakara added.
The company said that the new range 7.2L mPower Engine (HCVs) and mDi Tech Engine (ILCV) with FuelSmart Technology, cutting edge iMAXX telematics solution and others, all of which together ensures guaranteed highest mileage.
Considering the fact that fuel is the main component of the transporters' operating cost (over 60%), the Mahindra BS-VI truck range with this competitive advantage will give them an edge and grow their transport business, providing higher prosperity, it said.
Jalaj Gupta, business head (commercial vehicles business unit) at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, said, "the 'Get More Mileage or Give Truck Back' guarantee scheme was first offered on our HCV truck Blazo in 2016, and not a single truck has come back. Our new introductions ever since - Blazo X, Furio ICV range, and Furio 7 have delivered higher fuel efficiency."
He added that MTB offers a service guarantee to ensure higher uptime for its customers through the guaranteed speedier turnaround of the truck, be it on the highway or at the dealership workshop.
He also said that state-of-the-art iMAXX telematics technology is helping transporters reduce their cost of ownership by giving them firm control of their trucks remotely.
All this and the guaranteed high mileage will eventually translate into higher prosperity for MTB customers, he added.
