Mahindra's domestic commercial vehicle sales grew by 8% in June 2025, reaching 29,029 units, up from 26,778 units in June 2024. This increase highlights Mahindra’s growing presence in the CV market, driven by its customer-first approach and reliable vehicle portfolio.

Let’s look at the segment-wise performance of Mahindra’s CV & 3W sales:

LCV < 2T (Light Commercial Vehicles Under 2 Tonnes)

The LCV < 2T segment saw a 20% decline, with sales falling to 2,576 units in June 2025 compared to 3,227 units in June 2024. This drop reflects ongoing challenges in the small vehicle segment due to shifting demand and economic factors.

LCV 2T – 3.5T (Light Commercial Vehicles Between 2T and 3.5T)

Mahindra’s LCV 2T – 3.5T segment showed 4% growth, with 16,772 units sold in June 2025, up from 16,152 units in the previous year. This segment remains a consistent performer thanks to high demand for efficient and reliable goods carriers.

LCV > 3.5T + MHCV (Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles)

This segment recorded a 1% increase, with 1,227 units sold in June 2025 as compared to 1,219 units in June 2024. This steady growth shows Mahindra’s stronghold in the M&HCV category, especially in infrastructure and logistics applications.

3-Wheelers (Including Electric 3Ws)

Mahindra witnessed a 37% surge in the 3-wheeler category, selling 8,454 units in June 2025, up from 6,180 units in June 2024. This spike includes both conventional and electric 3-wheelers, indicating the rising acceptance of EVs in India’s urban and rural transport markets.
