Mahindra has Sold 27,336 units of Commercial Vehicles in the Domestic Market
The LCV > 3.5T + MHCV category created the highest growth of 88% in truck sales in India.
Mahindra Trucks & Bus is one of the most popular commercial vehicle brands in the market. The company has just revealed its truck sales data for June 2023 and achieved amazing growth. They sold 27,336 units in June 2023, which was 24,439 units in June 2022. As a result, they did an increase of 11.85%.
Mahindra CV sales data for June 2023 also highlighted the sales of different categories. So let's look at the brand's category-wise sales report.
LCV<2T:-
The category registered sales of 3063 units in June 2023, which was 3410 units in June 2022. The segment gets a drop of 10% in sales.
LCV 2 T – 3.5 T:-
Mahindra closed the June 2023 sales with 16,735 units, whereas the sold units of LCV 2 T – 3.5 T was 16,405 in the same month last year. The brand did a growth of 2% in the June sales.
LCV > 3.5T + MHCV:-
The LCV > 3.5T + MHCV segment created an amazing growth of 88% in the month of June. The segment sold 1161 commercial vehicles in June 2023, which was 616 in June 2022.
3 Wheelers (including electric 3Ws):-
The 3-wheeler category, including the electric segment, also registered high growth. They sold 6377 units of the 3-wheeler and electric 3-wheelers in June 2023 against the 4008 units in June 2022. Therefore, the brand registered a growth of 59%.

According to Mr. Veejay Nakra, President Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., "With strong demand for the SUV Portfolio, we have continued our growth trend with domestic sales of 32,585 units and 22% growth in June. The XUV700 reached an important milestone as it launched in Australia with a high decibel launch amidst great enthusiasm from customers as well as our partners. We continue to deliver healthy YoY growth in the HCVs and 3- Wheelers segments as well. The SUVs volumes were restricted by a short-term disruption in engine-related parts at the supplier end. The constraints on semiconductor related parts like Air Bag ECU continued during the month too."
