Mahindra Sales Figures July 2024 - YoY Comparison
Mahindra & Mahindra experienced a 40% drop in export commercial vehicle (CV) sales and a 14.88% decline in domestic sales.
Mahindra & Mahindra, a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles, experienced mixed results in its sales performance for July 2024. However, its LCV > 3.5T + MHCV segments showed exceptional growth. This category saw an impressive 77% surge in truck sales, underscoring Mahindra's strong position in the heavier segments of the commercial vehicle market.
Despite this success, Mahindra faced challenges in its overall domestic sales. In July 2024, domestic commercial vehicle sales dropped by 14.88%, with the number of units sold decreasing from 27,379 in July 2023 to 23,306 in July 2024. This decline reflects a challenging market environment that has impacted the company's domestic performance.

LCV<2T
The category registered sales of 3,036 units in July 2024, compared to 3,400 units in July 2023. The brand witnessed an 11% sales loss.
LCV 2 T–3.5 T
Mahindra closed the July 2024 sales with 13,541 units, whereas the units sold by LCV 2 T–3.5 T were 15,723 in the same month of last year. The brand experienced a 14% loss in the 2024 FY.
LCV > 3.5T + MHCV
The LCV > 3.5T + MHCV segment experienced 77% growth in July. To illustrate, the segment sold 3,136 CVs in July 2024, compared to 1,775 units in July 2023.
3 Wheelers (Including Electric 3Ws)
The 3-wheeler category, including the electric segment, also registered a decrease in sales. In July 2024, 3,593 units of 3-wheelers and electric 3-wheelers were sold, compared to 6,481 units in July 2023. As a result, the brand registered a 45% fall.
