In December 2024, domestic commercial vehicle sales rose by 8.87%, with units sold increasing from 23,195 in December 2023 to 25,252 in December 2024. LCV < 2T
The LCV < 2T category saw a decline in sales. In December 2024, 2,409 units were sold, compared to 2,849 units in December 2023. The brand faced a 15% drop in sales in this category.
LCV 2T – 3.5T
This segment showed significant improvement. Mahindra closed December 2024 sales with 16,139 units, an increase from 13,958 units in December 2023. This marked a growth of 16%, highlighting strong demand in this category.
LCV > 3.5T + MHCV
The LCV > 3.5T + MHCV segment experienced a decline in December 2024. Sales dropped to 954 units compared to 1,081 units in December 2023, reflecting a 12% decrease.
3-Wheelers (Including Electric 3Ws)
The 3-wheeler category, including the electric segment, registered a positive trend. In December 2024, 5,750 units were sold, compared to 5,307 units in December 2023. This represented an 8% increase, indicating growing interest in electric and traditional 3-wheelers.
