Mahindra E-Alfa Plus Powerful Performance
The E-Alfa Plus comes equipped with a 150 Ah lead acid battery and a 1.2 kW PMSM motor. This setup delivers a peak power of 2.62 hp and a torque of 26.9 Nm. The result is improved pick-up and the ability to carry heavier loads. To optimize charging times, Mahindra has included an 18 A off-board charger. Expect a full charge in about 10-12 hours.
Enhanced Range and Driving Modes
The E-Alfa Plus offers three driving modes: low, medium, and high. This feature helps drivers optimize the electric auto rickshaw performance based on road conditions and load. Moreover, the improved battery pack provides a commendable driving range of over 100 km on a single charge. This extended range is ideal for both intra-city and inter-city passenger transportation.
Spacious and Sturdy Build
Designed to accommodate four passengers comfortably, the E-Alfa Plus boasts a spacious interior. Its dimensions include a length of 2780 mm, a width of 995 mm, and a height of 1765 mm. The wheelbase stands at 2168 mm, ensuring stability. Despite its size, the E-Alfa Plus maintains a ground clearance of 127 mm when loaded and 132 mm when empty. To manoeuvre through congested city streets, it has a turning radius of 3500 mm.
Safety First
Mahindra has prioritized safety in the E-Alfa Plus. A robust metal body and chassis provide excellent durability. The rickshaw also features comfortable cushion seats for both passengers and the driver. To ensure safe braking, Mahindra has incorporated a drum braking system for both the front and rear. Additionally, a constant mesh transmission system contributes to overall vehicle control.
With the E-Alfa Plus, Mahindra continues to lead the electric three-wheeler segment by offering a product that combines performance, comfort, safety, and durability.
