Mahindra & Mahindra, a prominent player in the small commercial vehicle sector, introduced the Supro in 2015. With over 200,000 units sold till date, the company is the market leader in this segment.
Today, Mahindra truck launched the Supro Profit Truck Excel, an addition to its SCV lineup. Priced at Rs. 6.62 lakh, this new edition is part of the Mahindra Supro series.

Mr. Nalinikanth Gollangunta, Chief Executive Officer of M&M Automotive Division, said, “This launch marks a significant stride in the sub-2-tonne segment, showcasing our commitment to empowering businesses and transforming last-mile connectivity in India.”
The Supro Excel offers two powertrain choices: a diesel variant priced at Rs 6.62 lakh and a CNG Duo variant priced at Rs 6.94 Lakh. According to the company, the diesel model achieves a mileage of 23.61 km per litre.
The CNG Duo variant runs on both CNG and petrol and is equipped with cylinders. They attain a mileage of 24.88 km per kilo and boast a maximum range of 500 km. Further, Supro Excel’s diesel variant has a maximum payload capacity of up to 900 kg. On the other hand, the CNG Duo has a capacity of 750 kg. The model also has an increased deck size of 8.2 feet.
“The new model has been designed based on customer insights," said Mr. Baneshwar Banerjee, Vice President and Head of Sales at Mahindra Auto.
