Mahindra Recorded a Sales Hike of 17.16% in the March 2023 Domestic Sales

The LCV > 3.5T + MHCV segment of the company witnessed the highest growth of 77% in the March truck sales figures 2023

Mahindra Trucks & Bus has revealed its monthly sales report with the sales of the last financial year, 2023. The brand absorbed a total sales of 27,979 commercial vehicle units, including the 3-wheeler and electric 3-wheelers. Whereas the total sold units of March 2022 were 23,880, resulting in a sales increase of 17.16%.

Mahindra Truck Sales Report March 2023

LCV<2T:- The category sold 3,385 units of commercial vehicles in March 2023, whereas it was 3,806 in March 2022. As a result, the sales of this category declined by 11%. The total unit sales of this category in FY'22 was 32,339, which increased to 40,419 units in FY'23, with a growth of 25%. 

LCV 2T - 3.5T:- The LCV 2T-3.5T segment grew 15% in the Y-o-Y sales of March. In March 2022, the sales units of this category were 15,202, which closed at 17,428 units in March 2023. If we look at the annual sales of this segment, then we can see that it increased by 43%. The FY '23 sales of this segment were 1,98,121 units which stayed at 1,38,343 units in FY '22. 

LCV > 3.5T + MHCV:- Within this category, the brand sold 1,469 units in March 2023, which was 829 units in the same month last year and gained 77%. The truck sales statistics 2023 for the previous year was 6,435, which increased to 10,036 units in FY '23. 

3 Wheelers (including electric 3Ws):-  The 3-wheeler and electric 3-wheeler segment sold 5,697 units in March 2023, which closed with 4,043 in March 2022. The segment gained 41% sales with the increased sales. Also, in FY '22, this segment made sales of 30,079 which increased to 58,520 in FY '23 and witnessed a growth of 95%.

This brand's overall domestic truck sales data registered 27,979 units in March 2023, which was 23,880 in March 2022 and grew 17.16%. The total sales of FY '23 were 3,07,096 units, whereas it stayed at 2,07,196 units in FY'22 and achieved a hike of 48.21% in truck sales in India. 

Mahindra Export Truck Sales March 2023

The brand sold 2,115 commercial vehicles in March 2023, which was 3,160 units in the same month last year. As a result, it declined by 33% Y-o-Y sales. Along with this, the total export sales of FY '22 were 32,510, which went low to 32,107 units with a decline of 1%.
