The 3-Wheelers segment, which also includes the electric 3-wheelers, completed the month with the highest growth of 85% in truck sales in India.
Leading CV manufacturer Mahindra has revealed the company's performance in April 2023. The brand has completed a total sales of 25,783 units in April 2023. The company's overall sales are divided into 4 segments: LCV <2T, LCV 2T - 3.5T, LCV > 3.5T + MHCV, and the 3-wheeler. Mahindra Truck Sales Report April 2023
LCV<2T:- The LCV<2T segments feature small commercial vehicles used for last-mile delivery applications. The sold units of this segment are 3,416, which stood at 2,929 in April 2022. This category of Mahindra increased sales by 17% in truck sales figures in 2023.
LCV 2T - 3.5T:- The LCV 2T - 3.5T segment experienced growth of 14% in April 2023. This year, the segment sold 15,665 units compared to the 13,768 units in April 2022.
LCV > 3.5T + MHCV:- The LCV > 3.5T + MHCV category remained the second highest growing category in the overall sales of April 2023. In April 2022, the segment sold 705 units which raised to 1,150 units and increased by 63%.
3 Wheelers (including electric 3Ws):- The 3-wheeler and electric 3-wheeler categories are among the highest-growing categories in the commercial vehicle market. In April 2022, the company sold 3,009 units; in April 2023, it raised to 5,552, with a growth of 85%.
The overall domestic Truck Sales Statistics 2023 of the company for April are 25,783 units, whereas the total numbers for April 2022 were 20,411. As a result, Mahindra registered a growth of 26.32% in April Y-o-Y sales.
Mahindra Export Truck Sales April 2023
The export sales of Mahindra in April 2022 were 2,703 units which decreased to 1,813 units in April 2023. As a result, this segment's sales went down by 33%.
