Mumbai Firm Launches New Battery Line for Three‑Wheelers & Light Commercial Vehicles
Neuron Energy, based in Mumbai, has launched its second‑generation lithium‑ion battery packs. These new Gen 2 batteries will be available for electric two‑wheelers, three‑wheelers, and light commercial vehicles from July 2025. In addition to adding new products, the company aims to earn over ₹250 crore in revenue from this launch.
Built for India’s Tough Roads
The Gen 2 batteries include several smart improvements. First, Neuron added better heat dissipation features to prevent overheating on hot Indian roads. They also reinforced the structure to fit different vehicle models easily and added vibration protection to withstand bumpy rides. In addition, a smart Battery Management System helps balance cells, so batteries last longer and need less maintenance.
Who Will Use These Batteries?
Perhaps most importantly, the new packs will be sold to many buyers. These include electric vehicle makers, fleet operators, logistics firms, battery sellers, and even government agencies. This wide reach shows the batteries are meant for both small vehicles and big commercial use.
Why This Matters
India is moving fast toward electric mobility. However, the country has unique challenges, such as rough roads and extreme weather. Therefore, the Gen 2 series is designed to match these needs. In addition, with government schemes backing electric fleets, companies like Neuron are stepping up to help meet growing demand.
Looking Ahead
Moving forward, Neuron Energy plans to expand its customer base and support more electric vehicle models. In addition, the company aims to strengthen its role in India’s shift to electric transport by combining smart tech with strong, reliable battery packs. Overall, Neuron Energy’s Gen 2 batteries offer a practical and performance-oriented solution for India’s evolving electric vehicle needs.
