A New Era in Comfort and Safety with the Tata Magna Coach

At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Tata Motors introduced the new Tata Magna Coach, a game-changer in intercity passenger transport. With a powerful 6.7L Cummins engine and a 61350 Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), the coach promises seamless performance for long-distance travel. The addition of advanced features like the Adaptive Cruise Control and Driver Monitoring System, part of its ADAS Level 2, ensures unmatched safety and convenience for both drivers and passengers.

Key Features that Set the Tata Magna Coach Apart

Designed to prioritise passenger comfort, the Tata Magna Coach boasts a 36-seater layout with easy boarding facilities and a smooth ride. The coach's electronically-controlled air suspension with kneel and lift functionality further enhances the overall experience. The optional air-suspended driver seat adds to the driver’s comfort.

For safety, the coach comes equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system, Electronic Braking System (EBS), and Electronic Stability Control (ESC). These features, along with the CAN-based Electro Magnetic Retarder and Intelligent Transport System (ITS), ensure maximum reliability on the road. The vehicle’s connected features, including Fleet Edge and FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air), provide real-time fleet management and software updates, making it a smart investment for fleet operators.

Tata Magna Coach Specifications and Performance

The Tata Magna Coach stands tall with its GVW of 19,000 kg and a wheelbase of 6,925 mm. It also offers a sleek design with overall dimensions of 13,500 mm in length, 2,600 mm in width, and a height of 3,900 mm. The coach’s engine, the 6.7L Cummins ISBe, delivers 300 hp and 1,100 Nm of torque, ensuring smooth and powerful performance.

With a top speed of 100 km/h and advanced suspension systems, the Tata Magna Coach sets new benchmarks for both performance and comfort in intercity transport.
