The Brand Sold a Total of 32,944 CV in July, With a 36% Decline In Export Sales
Tata Motors, one of India's biggest and most prominent CV manufacturers, has released its sales report for July. The brand sold total units of 32,944 CVs in July 2023 against 34,154 in July 2022. The data henceforth indicates a decline of 4% in its overall sales.
Looking at the Tata Truck sales in India, we find a decline of 1%. The brand sold 31,216 CV units in July 2023 and 31,473 in the same month last year. Moreover, here we have category-wise Tata Motors commercial vehicle sales report for July 2023.

HCV Category (Heavy Commercial Vehicle):-
Tata Motors recorded a growth of 14% in sales in July 2023. The brand sold 8502 units of CV in July, which was closed at 7473 units in July 2022.
ILMCV Category (Intermediate, Light & Medium Commercial Vehicles):-
The sales of the ILMCV segment didn't go well, and the brand experienced a downfall of 11%. Tata Motors sold 4,899 units in July 2023 against the 5524 units of the same month last year.
Passenger Carriers (PC) Category:-
The passenger Carriers category is one of the highest-growing categories of the brand every month. The Truck sales statistics 2023 July month states sales of 4292 passenger carriers which were 3454 units in July 2022. As a result, it upscaled the growth by 24%.
SCV Cargo and Pickup:-
Small Commercial Vehicles and Pickups also faced a decline of 10% in the. The brand sold 13,523 units in July 2023 against 15,022 in July 2022.
