Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, has inaugurated its eighth Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) in Kolkata, marking another strategic step toward responsible and eco-friendly vehicle disposal. The facility, named ‘Re.Wi.Re – Recycle with Respect,’ aims to dismantle up to 21,000 end-of-life vehicles annually in a safe, sustainable, and compliant manner. Operated in partnership with Selladale Synergies India Pvt. Ltd, this facility supports the scrapping of vehicles across all categories and brands — from two-wheelers and three-wheelers to passenger and commercial vehicles.

Outlook on Vehicle Scrappage and Sustainable Practices
Each Re.Wi.Re facility is built to uphold the highest standards in environment, safety, and regulatory compliance. The Kolkata centre strengthens Tata Motors' scrapping ecosystem, which now spans across Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Chandigarh, Delhi NCR, Pune, Guwahati, and now Kolkata. These facilities together represent a significant national capacity of 1.3 lakh vehicles per year.
