Kargar Brings Over 30 Years of Global Experience
TVS Motor Company has appointed Peyman Kargar as the Head of International Business, starting April 1, 2025. He will be based in Dubai and report to K. N. Radhakrishnan, the company’s Director and CEO. This move is part of TVS Motor’s strategy to expand its global presence.
Strong Leadership Background
Kargar has over 30 years of experience in the global automobile industry. Before joining TVS Motor, he was the Global Chairman and President of INFINITI, Nissan’s luxury brand. During his leadership, INFINITI’s sales increased by 20%, and the brand moved toward earning $1 billion in annual profit.
Previously, Kargar held key positions at Nissan, including Chairman and Senior Vice President for Africa, the Middle East, and India. He also served as CEO of the DATSUN brand. Additionally, he played a crucial role at Renault Group, leading sales and marketing across 50 countries, handling an annual turnover of €4 billion, and managing sales of 400,000 commercial vehicles.
TVS Motor’s Global Growth Plans
TVS Motor is a well-known manufacturer of two- and three-wheelers. The company operates in 80 countries and has manufacturing facilities in India and Indonesia. With Kargar’s expertise, TVS aims to strengthen its market position in international regions, including advanced economies.
K. N. Radhakrishnan stated that Kargar’s global leadership and deep industry knowledge will help drive TVS Motor’s growth in international markets.
