VE Commercial Vehicles Records 5,152 Units Sold in July 2024

Eicher CV Sales Rose by 12.43% in July 2024, with 4,974 Units Sold

VEVC, a partnership of Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks, experienced a 12.86% rise in commercial vehicle (CV) sales. The total number of VECVs sold in July 2024, including domestic and export sales, was 5,152, compared to 4,565 units in July 2023.

In July 2024, Eicher Trucks experienced a 12.43% surge in commercial vehicle sales over July 2023. Eicher vehicles experienced a 12.84% increase in domestic sales, reaching 4,658 units from 4,128 units in July 2023.

Segment-Wise Sales:

The LMD (3.5-15T) segment sold 3,156 CV units in July 2024, which closed with 2,759 CV units in July 2023. This resulted in a 14.39% rise in sales.

In addition, the Heavy Duty segment's sales also increased by 9.72%. This segment sold 1,502 units of CVs in July 2024, compared to 1,369 units last July.

Explore Sales Data:

The LMD segment of Export Eicher Truck sales data for July 2024 shows a decrease of 2.45%. This segment completed sales of 239 CV units in July 2024, compared to 245 CV units in July 2023.

Additionally, the HD or heavy-duty segment of the brand also saw an increase in sales. In July 2024, the segment sold 77 units of CV in exports, compared to 51 units in the same month last year, a 50.98% gain.

Overall, the Export Eicher Truck Sales statistics for July 2024 showed sales of 316 CV units, compared to 296 units in July 2023. The sales increased by 6.76% year over year.

Volvo Truck Performance:

Volvo Trucks experienced a 26.24% increase, selling 178 units in July 2024, up from 141 units in July 2023.

Overall, VECV, the joint venture between Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks, sold 5,152 CV units in July 2024. The brand recorded an increase of 12.86%, as the number of units sold in July 2023 was 4,565.
