VE Commercial Vehicles Records February 2025 Sales of 5,674 Units

Eicher CV sales increased by 2.67% in Feb 2025 

Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV) recorded a sales growth of 2.68% in February 2025, selling 5,674 units. Eicher Trucks saw a 2.67% increase, while Volvo Trucks experienced a marginal rise in sales.

VECV, a joint venture between Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks, recorded an overall sales increase of 2.68% in February 2025. The total number of VECV units sold, including domestic and export sales, was 5,674, compared to 5,526 units in February 2024.

Eicher Truck Performance

Eicher Trucks reported a slight increase of 2.67% in overall commercial vehicle sales compared to February 2024. Domestic sales saw a growth of 0.86%, with 5,179 units sold, up from 5,135 units in the same month last year.

Segment-Wise Sales:

• The LD Trucks and LMD (3.5-18.5T) segment recorded a 6.90% growth, selling 3,500 CV units in February 2025, compared to 3,274 units in February 2024.
• The Heavy Duty (>18.5T) segment saw a decline of 9.80%, with 1,679 units sold in February 2025, compared to 1,861 units in the previous year.

Export Sales Performance:

• The Low & Medium Duty Export segment recorded a 62.80% growth, selling 298 CV units in February 2025, compared to 183 units in February 2024.
• The Heavy Duty Export segment saw a decline of 53.30%, with sales dropping to 14 units in February 2025 from 30 units in February 2024.
• Overall, Eicher Truck Exports increased by 46.48%, with 312 CV units sold compared to 213 in February 2024.

Volvo Truck Performance: 

Volvo Trucks reported a 2.80% growth, selling 183 units in February 2025, compared to 178 units in February 2024.

Overall, VECV continues to maintain steady growth in the commercial vehicle market, despite challenges in the heavy-duty segment.
