Different Types of Electric Vehicles in India
Electric vehicles get power from batteries enabling them to drive and accelerate. Moreover, commercial vehicles ensure greener and more sustainable transportation.
In these vehicles, gasoline is not used, and it runs on electricity stored in batteries. This mechanism provides more cost-effective rides than petroleum vehicles.
Hybrid electric vehicles contain both engines and motors. The batteries are associated with an electric motor, and the engine is powered by fuel. Simultaneously, they power the vehicle.
Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles also work like HEVs, but they offer fuel selection choices between conventional fuel and alternative fuel. Also, the batteries can be charged externally.
The fuel cell electric vehicles are an alternative to traditional petroleum vehicles. Moreover, these vehicles are powered by hydrogen and only emit water vapour and warm air.
