Ashok Leyland, a prominent Indian commercial vehicle manufacturer, recently released its September 2023 sales report for commercial vehicles (CV). The report reveals a noteworthy 4.41% growth in sales, encompassing both the domestic and export markets.

In specific numbers, Ashok Leyland's CV sales amounted to 16,342 units in September 2023, up from 15,652 units in the same month in 2022. Notably, the company achieved a robust 4.41% increase in domestic sales during September, yet simultaneously faced a considerable decline of 26.6% in sales in the export market.

Ashok Leyland Commercial Vehicle Sales Report, September 2023, saw a sales increase of 4.41%. It saw sales of 16,342 units, compared to 15,652 units in Sep 2022. This company had a rise in sales in the segment of M&HCV Trucks.

Furthermore, its LCV category has also experienced a 3% increase in sales. The brand sold 6,233 LCV, compared to 6,024 in Sep 2022. The M&HCV segment sold 10,109 units in September 2023, compared to 9,628 units in Sep 2022.

However, it faced a sales decline of 47.40% in the M&HCV category. Under the M&HCV vehicles, the company sold 157 units in Sep 2023, compared to 299 in Sep 2022. The LCV category reported sales of 217 units in September 2023, compared to 211 units in September 2022.

In September 2023, Ashok Leyland witnessed a 3% increase in Gross Commercial Vehicle Sales, including 3% growth in both the M&HCV and LCV categories.

In Gross Commercial Vehicle Sales, 16,716 units were observed in September 2023, compared to 16,162 in September 2022. However, under the M&HCV Truck category, 10,266 CVs were sold in Sep 2023, compared to 9,927 CVs in Sep 2022. Within the LCV category, 6,450 CVs were sold in September 2023, compared to 6,235 CVs in September 2022.
