Japanese electric vehicle brand Terra Motors has introduced its new electric three-wheeler, KYORO+, in India. The launch event took place at The Lalit hotel in New Delhi. Many important guests were present, including BJP National Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla.
The name KYORO+ comes from a Japanese word that means alertness and quick movement. It joins Terra Motors’ other electric autos like the Y4A, Rizin, and Pace. This new model shows the company's growing focus on India’s electric vehicle market.
Big Plans for Dealerships and Production Growth
Terra Motors has set a clear goal to open 100 dealerships across the country by the end of 2025. In addition, the company plans to increase its monthly production to 5,000 units. These steps aim to help Terra Motors become a major player in the electric three-wheeler market, which is worth around USD 1.17 billion.
According to Go Suzuki, Managing Director of Terra Motors India, the company has already sold over 1 lakh electric three-wheelers in India, especially in East India. With the launch of KYORO+, Terra Motors has now entered the L5 category, which offers more powerful and spacious electric autos.
KYORO+ Offers Good Range and Practical Features
The new KYORO+ is built for city travel. It can run up to 200 kilometers on a single charge. The top speed is 55 km/h, and it can go from 0 to 28 km/h in just 5.6 seconds. The vehicle can also handle slopes of up to 22%, even when fully loaded.
Moreover, the KYORO+ has comfortable seating and a large luggage space, making it suitable for daily passengers and goods transport. Interested buyers can book the vehicle on the official website or at any authorized dealership.
