VECV Truck Sales Rose by 5.15% in September 2023: Sold 6105 CV units

Eicher Trucks sold 5,672 units of Commercial vehicles, with an increase of 7.30% in the September Y-O-Y sales.

VECV, the joint venture of Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks, has experienced a hike in their Commercial Vehicle Sales. The VECV sold 5672 units of CV in September 2023 against the 5286 units in September 2022. As a result, the brand closed the month with 7.3% growth in September Y-o-Y sales.

The total sales of Eicher Commercial Vehicles in September 2023 were 5872 units, which was 5673 units in September 2022. This resulted in a growth of 3.51% overall, including Domestic and International sales.

The LMD (3.5-15T) segment sold 3817 CV units in September 2023, which closed with 3613 CV units in September 2022. It resulted in a 5.65% growth in sales. On the contrary, the Heavy Duty segment grew by 10.88% in sales. This segment sold 1855 units of Commercial Vehicles against the 1673 units of last September.

The sales of Volvo trucks took a giant leap, experiencing a growth of 75.19%. The sold units of this brand were 133 in September 2022, which ended September 2023 with 233 sold units.

The export Eicher Truck sales data for September 2023 shows a decline of 48.32%. The LMD segment completed sales of 174 CV units in September 2023 against the 309 CV units of September 2022.

On the other hand, the HD or heavy-duty segment of the brand also experienced a drop in sales. The segment sold 26 units of CV in exports in September 2023, which was 78 units in the same month last year. It resulted in a 66.66% fall in sales.

The exports Eicher Truck Sales statistics for September 2023 showed sales of 200 CV units, against the 387 units in September 2023. The sales dropped by 48.32% in September Y-o-Y.
In the overall VECV sales report for September 2023, 4,565 units were sold, compared to 4,525 in July 2022.
