Good news for customers of Ashok Leyland as the company launched a new product in the tipper category. The company recently introduced AVTR 4825 10×2 tipper with Tandem Dummy Axle.
The second leading commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland has recently launched the AVTR 4825 10×2 tipper with NRS suspension and tandem dummy axle. The latest tipper model is designed with an A4 series engine and i-Gen6 technology that produce 250HP. It delivers superior engine performance and durability. The intelligent, innovative and indigenous i-Gen technologies with unique Mid-NOx strategy ensure reduction in DEF consumption, resulting in a lower cost of operation and superior profitability.
The new AVTR 4825 10×2 Tipper is loaded with a heavy-duty 9-speed gearbox which provides high durability. Along with this, it comes with a 12.5T dual tyre lift axle (DTLA) with patented parallelogram technology that offers better tyre life and a Heavy-duty Rear axle with Tandem Dummy in the rear. It also has new-generation air brakes with ABS and ASA, a spacious crash code-compliant sleeper cabin (with optional air conditioning) with a full metal front jacket. These advanced features make driving easier and bolster safety.
Head of MHCV of Ashok Leyland, Sanjeev Kumar, said, “AVTR is the first modular truck platform in India which offers the entire gamut of 19 to 55 ton GVW truck range. After the launch of 4825 in 10x4, now it is available in 10x2 for surface application for better TAT and fluid efficiency. With the rapid growth of infrastructure in India, there has been an increase in the demand for transportation of construction and mining materials across industries. Also, the new Ashok Leyland tipper is fitted with 29cum Box Body with varied body capacities which make it suitable to load coal, infrastructure and road construction aggregates over longer distances and rough terrains.”

- This tipper model has a Cable Gear shift, Air assisted clutch pedal, Integrated ABC pedal and Parabolic suspension, ensuring superior drivability and ride comfort.
- It has heavy-duty Non-reactive suspension at the rear axle with hypoid gear CWP and tandem dummy axle.
- The N cabin of tipper offers the ultimate driving experience with a suspended cab with dampers, a suspended driver seat, an anti-roll bar in the front, excellent storage spaces, Full Metal Front Facia, AC options.
- The heavy-duty four-stage hydraulic FE tipping cylinder provides ease of tipping.
- For the higher safety loading & unloading, the tipper is loaded with an anti-roll bar and anti toppling sensor.
- Along with this, it is packed with advanced digital solutions such as i-Alert (advanced telematics) & remote diagnostics.
