Ashok Leyland launches New Partner Super Series in ICV category
Today Ashok Leyland has launches a new ICV category called ‘Partner Super’ with three models, 914, 1014, and 1114 in the GVW category of 9.15 tonne, 10.25 tonne, and 11.28 tonne, respectively. The new ICV models will help in applications like FMCG, E-commerce sectors, etc.
Ashok Leyland is a well-known and popular brand in the commercial vehicle manufacturing market. It has launched in the Indian market its new ICV Partner Super, which features three new models, Ashok Leyland Partner Super 914, Ashok Leyland Partner Super 1014, and Ashok Leyland Partner Super 1114 in tonnage capacities of 9.15 tonne, 10.25 tonne, and 11.28 tonne, respectively. The company claims that the new Partner Super trucks will be the best-in-class in the ICV segment in terms of payload capacity. Partner Super will be utilised in multiple applications like delivery of fruits, vegetables, beverages, white goods, FMCG, parcel and e-commerce sectors. It is designed with tiltable contemporary day cabins, which provide comfort to drivers. Its engine is designed to deliver higher mileage to bring fuel efficiency.
The new Partner Super ICV promises to be having better manoeuvrability in difficult terrains and congested roads. The Head of the MHCV segment in Ashok Leyland, Sanjeev Kumar, stated, “Ashok Leyland has a legacy of introducing the best-in-category commercial vehicle products that meet the requirements of its customer base. It also improves the total cost of ownership for customers. In the line of expanding our product range in the ICV segment, we have introduced Partner Super to provide strength to this portfolio and satisfy the ever-growing demands of the customers. We hope to keep this momentum on to acknowledge our mission and vision of being amongst the top 10 commercial vehicle players across the globe by delivering differentiated products.”
The company believes that the value-added features of Partner Super will ensure easy maintenance work with parabolic and double shock absorber suspension systems. It will fulfil the customers’ needs as customers can choose either a 90-litres or 184-litres engine fuel tank capacity. It incorporates a 6-speed overgear gearbox system. Partner Super will comprise of dual-tone interior inside the cabin with a digital-analogue cluster and tiltable power steering system. New telematics specifications will be enabled with OTA-flashing and reverse parking assistance systems. The company is also providing a driver line warranty of 4 years, 4 lakh on the Partner Super trucks. The loading span options of the new ICV are available in 4.3m (14 ft), 5.2m (17 ft), 6.2m (20 ft) and 6.8m (22 ft). The Partner Super prices have not been announced officially yet.
