Good news for the customers of Ashok Leyland. The company expanded its product range by adding a new Ecomet STAR 1415 Tipper.
The flagship company of Hinduja Group, Ashok Leyland has recently launched the Ecomet STAR 1415 Tipper. It is a cubic meter tipper with a 7 cubic metre capacity in the Intermediate Commercial Vehicle (ICV) segment. The tipper model comes with 14T GVW and Twin Tipping Ram for heavy-duty operations.
The new launch is powered by Ashok Leyland’s iGen technology engine that produces 150 hp and 450 Nm Torque. In addition, it comes with a 6-speed heavy-duty DD gearbox for the fluid economy.
The tipper model has a heavy-duty axle, full metal cabin, suspension & frame and longer service intervals. It carries 10-15% more load per trip and increases customer revenue substantially. The new tipper performs multiple loading tasks such as bricks, sand, road construction materials and many more. The maintenance cost of this tipper is also low.
Head of MHCV, Ashok Leyland, Sanjeev Kumar, said, “The segment of ICV tipper is witnessing a spurt because of increased focus on infrastructure in the northeastern and hilly states and increased construction activity in rural areas across India. ICV tippers are highly preferred due to better manoeuvrability in narrow roads and easy access to loading and unloading sites. So, to complete the growing needs of customers, we continue to expand our ICV tipper product range with the Ecomet Star 1415 Tipper.”
