Ashok Leyland, flagship firm of the Hinduja Group has disclosed their sales number of May 2022. They have recorded 4 times growth compared to May of last year. The leading commercial vehicles firm has seen growth in YoY and MoM also.
The total domestic sales are 12458 units and the figure raised to 13273 units when they exported the vehicles. The company sold 7268 units of MHCV’s and 5190 units of LCV’s. The industry has achieved incredible No. if we compare it to the 1513 MHCV’s and 1225 LCV’s of last year. As the results of May 2022 sales, the industry created 355% growth as compared to the sales of Covid 19 affected May 2021.
Ashok Leyland is the one of the leading commercial vehicles manufacturers of the company and they export the vehicles in the foregin companies also. Indian Armed forces also use Ashok Leyland commercial vehicles to the most distant places where the Army performs their duties.
Looking at the integrated sales figures of the domestic and export vehicles the company experienced YoY growth of 315%. The company exported 13273 units of vehicles and the cumulative sales stand at 25120 units. The complete sales were up by 121 percent and 118 percent of domestic and export respectively.
