Ashok Leyland Sold 12,049 CV Sales Units in the Domestic Market

Ashok Leyland, a prominent Indian commercial vehicle manufacturer, recently released its November 2023 sales report for commercial vehicles (CV). The report witnesses a 3% drop in sales, encompassing both the domestic & export markets.

Precisely, Ashok Leyland's CV sales amounted to 12,049 units in Nov 2023, up from 12,696 units in the same month in 2022. Notably, the company saw a 5% drop in domestic sales on November 23. At the same time, there was a substantial 116% increase in sales within the export market.

Ashok Leyland Commercial Vehicle Sales Report, November 2023, saw a sales drop of 13%. It sold 6,755 units, compared to 7,727 units in Nov 2022. As a result, this CV manufacturer witnessed a decrease in sales in the M&HCV Trucks segment.

Furthermore, it experienced a sales surge with a remarkable 112% growth in the M&HCV category. Under the M&HCV vehicles, the company sold 178 units in Nov 2023, compared to 84 in November 2022. In November 2023, Ashok Leyland witnessed a 3% decrease in Gross CV Sales, including an 11% loss in M&HCV categories and a 9 % increase in LCV.

In Gross Commercial Vehicle Sales, 12,486 units were recorded in November 2023, compared to 12,898 in November 2022. Additionally, under the M&HCV Truck category, 6,933 CVs were sold in Nov 2023, compared to 7,811 CVs in November 2022. Within the LCV category, 5553 CVs were sold in November 2023, compared to 5,087 CVs in November 2022.
