The Three Wheeler sector closed with a YoY gain of 80.41%, whereas the LCV segment showed growth of 60.23%.
The combined sales report of Threewheeler and commercial vehicle sales in India has been released by FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Association). According to FADA's information, the CV segment's upward trend is continuing.
The segment sold a total number of 1,16,408 vehicles, of which 50,349 units were sold in three-wheelers. In addition, the commercial vehicle sales data is 66,459 units. The combined sales of these segments rose by 45.31% against the 80,105 units last year.

The numbers show steady growth in sales of both the three-wheeler and commercial vehicles segment. Moreover, the YoY sales data is now compared to when the covid was nowhere in the country.
Still, the three-wheeler segment went up by 80.41% as this year sold 50,349 units against the 27,908 units last year.
In the commercial vehicles segment, the LCV segment sold 41,077 units and went up by 17.57% as compared to the 34,938 in the same period last year. On the other hand, the MCV segment increased 53.24% of their sales by selling 4,421, whereas the July 2021 sales were 2,885 units. The most significant jump in the commercial vehicles sales data was achieved by the HCV segment selling 18,181 units with a raise of 60.23% against the 11,347 units of last year.
The other category of the Commercial vehicles, fell by 8%, as this year the sales reached 2,780 units from 3,027 units last year.
