Euler Motors Introduced the Storm EV, India's First ADAS Enabled Commercial Vehicle 

New Delhi, September 25, 2024 – Euler Motors officially launched the Storm EV series at an event in Aerocity, Delhi. Saurav Kumar, the Founder and CEO of Euler Motors, announced that deliveries for this highly anticipated electric vehicle will commence on October 3, 2024. The Storm EV is notable for being India's first commercial vehicle equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), marking a significant advancement in electric mobility for commercial applications.

Storm EV Variants and Range

The Storm EV series features three variants designed to cater to a variety of commercial needs:

• Standard and Armour variants, both offering a range of 140 km.
• Long Range (LR) variant, which boasts an impressive range of 200+ km.

These variants can be customized with different load body types, including Flatbed, Pickup truck, High Deck, and Delivery Van. This ensures versatility for various operational requirements.

Specifications of the Storm EV

The Storm EV has advanced specifications, including regenerative braking, a Load-Sensing Proportioning Valve (LSPV), and vacuum-assisted power brakes. It features a robust suspension system comprising 7 rear semi-elliptical leaf springs and 2 front parabolic leaf springs.

Key performance metrics include:

• Peak Torque: 140 Nm
• Peak Power Output: 30 kW
• Top Speed: 70 km/h
• Peak Efficiency: 92%

Charging options are designed for convenience, with a 3.3 kW onboard charger taking 6 hours for a full charge, while a 6.6 kW charger reduces this time to 4 hours. For quick refueling, the fast charging capability allows drivers to cover 100 km in just 30 minutes.

Features for Enhanced Connectivity and Safety

The Storm EV also offers numerous features that enhance connectivity and safety. It includes power steering, multiple storage options, and a 10.2-inch touch infotainment system. The vehicle is equipped with a front collision warning system and a dashcam for added safety.

Additionally, the Storm EV features LED DRLs and LED tail lights to improve visibility, especially during nighttime driving.

Pricing and Availability

The introductory pricing for the Storm EV has been set at Rs 12,99,999 for the Long Range variant and Rs 8,99,999 for the Standard variant. With the launch of the Storm EV today, Euler Motors aims to redefine electric commercial vehicles in India, promising enhanced connectivity and a smoother ride for businesses across the nation.
