FADA Reports Impressive 74.35% Rise in 3 Wheeler Sales for July 2023

Mahindra Achieved the Most Significant Sales Growth of 177.40% in 3 Wheeler Segment

The sales data for 3-wheeler original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in July 2023 has been released by FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealership Associations). All other brands achieved favorable sales growth except for Atul Auto, which experienced a sales dip. The segment achieved 94,148 units sold in July 2023, marking a 74.35% increase compared to the 54,000 units sold in July 2022.

Brand Wise 3-wheeler Sales Report Data of July 2023

Bajaj:

Bajaj is one of the most prominent three-wheeler OEMs in the market. In the FADA three-wheeler report of July 2023, Bajaj sold 31,453 units, compared to 14,657 in July 2022. As a result, the brand observed a growth rate of 114.59%.

Piaggio:

According to the Three-wheeler sales in India of FADA, Piaggio stayed in second place after selling 7,157 units of vehicles in July 2023. Whereas the brand sold 4,562 units in July 2022, observing a growth of 56.88%.

Mahindra:

The brand experienced a sales growth of 177.40% in retail sales in July 2023. To substantiate, Mahindra sold 2,230 units in July 2022, which increased to 6,186 in July 2023.

Y.C. Electric:

Y.C. Electric sold 3,594 units in July 2023 within the Three-wheeler sales figure. The brand registered a hike of 43.82% as the units sold in July 2022 were 2,499.

Mayuri:

Mayuri sold 2,723 three-wheelers in the month of July 2023, compared to 1,685 units in the same month last year. The brand henceforth increased its sales by 61.60%.

City Life:

City Life, also known as Dilli Electric Auto Pvt. Ltd., has closed the month with a decent growth graph. The brand sold 2,471 commercial vehicles in July 2023, compared to 1,064 units in July 2022, for a growth rate of 132.24% in sales.

Atul Auto:

This 3-wheeler company experienced a dip of 7.63% in its retail sales report. Atul Auto sold 1,404 units in July 2023, compared to 1,520 in July 2022. 

Mini Metro:

Mini Metro followed a positive sales trend of 49.62% in the retail sales statistics of July 2023. They sold 1,568 units in July 2023, compared to 1,048 in July 2022.

TVS Motors:

TVS, a renowned manufacturer, also concluded the month with favorable sales figures. The brand sold 1,355 units of three-wheelers in July 2023, compared to 997 units in July 2022, and generated growth of 35.91%.

Saarthi:

Saarthi, or Champion Poly Plast, observed a slight increase of 16.97% in their July 2023 sales. The brand noted July 2023 with 1,420 units, whereas the units sold in July 2022 were 1,214.

J.S. Auto:

The J.S. Auto Company too observed positive sales growth of 21.50% in the Three Wheeler Sales Report in July 2023. It sold 1,085 units in July 2023, compared to 893 in July 2022.

All other brands, including electric vehicle manufacturers, highlighted a sales surge of 55.94%. They sold 33,732 units in July 2023, compared to 21,631 in July 2022.
