FADA 3 Wheeler Retail Sales increased by 17.13% in March 2024
According to the latest FADA retail sales data for March 2024, 3-wheeler sales have increased by 17.13%. MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA GROUP leads the way in vehicle sales for the month, with a remarkable 53.98% increase. Notably, other manufacturers, including those in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, reported a significant sales growth of 21.42%.
FADA released sales data for 3-wheeler original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in March 2024, showing positive sales growth across almost all brands.
The segment's collective sales rose to 105,222 units, a substantial increase from the 89,837 units recorded in March 2023. This marks a notable 17.13% growth within the 3-wheeler category.

Bajaj
Bajaj is one of the most prominent three-wheeler OEMs in the market. The FADA three-wheeler report for March 2024 showed that Bajaj sold 36,639 units, compared to 32,374 in March 2023. As a result, the brand recorded a growth rate of 13.17%.
Piaggio
According to the FADA three-wheeler sales report, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. sold 9,401 vehicles in March 2024, up from 8,096 units in March 2023, a growth of 16.12%.
Mahindra
Mahindra experienced a 53.98 % increase in retail sales in March 2024. To substantiate, it sold 5,409 units in March 2023, which increased to 8,329 in March 2024.
Y.C. Electric
Y.C. Electric sold 3,321 units in March 2024, a hike of 7.16% compared to the 3,099 units sold in March 2023.
Citylife
Citylife, also known as Dilli Electric Auto Pvt. Ltd., closed the month with a decent growth graph. The brand sold 2,197 commercial vehicles in March 2024, compared to 2,062 units in March 2023, experiencing a sales growth rate of 6.55%.
Mayuri
This brand sold 2,190 three-wheelers in March 2024, compared to 2,241 units in the same month last year. Henceforth, Mayuri decreased its sales by 2.28%.
Atul Auto
This 3-wheeler company experienced a fall of 12.20% in its retail sales report. Atul Auto sold 2,173 units in March 2024, compared to 2,475 in March 2023.
TVS Motors
TVS, a renowned manufacturer, also concluded the month with positive sales figures. The brand sold 1,808 three-wheelers in March 2024, compared to 1,517 units in March 2023, and generated growth of 19.18%.
Mini Metro
The retail sales statistics for March 2024 show that Mini Metro sales dropped 8.14%. They sold 1,162 units in March 2024, compared to 1,265 in March 2023.
Others Including EV
All other brands, including electric vehicle manufacturers (UNIQUE INTERNATIONAL, OMEGA SEIKI PVT LTD), saw a collective sales surge of 21.42%. They sold 38,002 units in March 2024, compared to 31,299 in March 2023.
