In November 2023, there was a significant rise in sales within the three-wheeler category, recording a surge of 23.31% with a total of 99,890 units sold.
The Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) unveiled sales figures for both commercial vehicles (CV) and three-wheelers during this period. The combined sales of CVs in November 2023 reached 2,69,062 units, indicating a growth of 6.22% from the 2,53,307 units sold in November 2022.
However, the CV segment experienced a decline of 1.82%, selling 84,586 units in November 2023, compared to 86,150 units in the same period last year. Conversely, the three-wheeler segment observed a notable increase in sales, selling 99,890 units in November 2023 compared to 81,007 units sold in November 2022, reflecting a 23.31% growth rate.

E-RICKSHAW (P)
Under the E-Rickshaw segment, a sales growth of 16.95% in retail was observed in Nov 2023. The brand sold 41,708 units in November 2023, compared to 35,664 in November 2022.
E-RICKSHAW WITH CART (G)
This segment saw a 63.99% hike in its retail sales for Nov 2023. The E-Rickshaw category sold 3,201 units in November 2023, compared to 1,952 in November 2022.
THREE WHEELER (GOODS)
The 3-wheeler segment observed a slight growth of 11.32% in its Nov 2023 sales figure. Its sold 9,862 units in Nov 2023, compared to 8,859 in November 2022.
THREE WHEELER (PASSENGER)
This passenger vehicle segment registered a major retail sales growth of 30.55% in Nov 2023. The segment sold 45,024 units in Nov 2023, compared to 34,487 in November 2022.
THREE WHEELER (PERSONAL)
The personal three-wheeler saw a 111.11% sales rise in its retail sales in November 2023. The segment sold 45 units in Nov 2022, which increased to 95 in November 2023.

The Commercial Vehicle segment has also been segregated according to LCV. MCV, HCV, and others. Following are the complete sales of the CV segment.
LCV
The LCV segment experienced a slight decline of 6.28% in its retail sales for November 2023. In Nov 2023, the segment closed with 48,322 units, compared to 51,560 units in Nov 2022.
MCV
The MCV category of commercial vehicles sold 5,276 units in Nov 2023, compared to 5,082 units in November 2022. As a result, the MCV segment experienced growth of 3.82%.
HCV
Under the Heavy Commercial Vehicle segment, there was a slight sales growth of 0.39% in retail sales in Nov 2023. In this period, it sold 26,690 units in Nov 2023, compared to 26,585 in November 2022.
Others
All other remaining segments of the CV category ended in November 2023, with sales of 4,298 units. In November 2022, it sold 2,923 units. As a result, the segment saw sales growth of 47.04%.
