FADA 3 Wheeler Retail Sales Hiked by 45.63% in October 2023
FADA 3 wheeler retail sales report an impressive rise of 45.63% for October 2023. In this report, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. took the lead in vehicle sales as of Oct 23.
Mahindra & Mahindra Group achieved the most significant sales growth of 41.85%, whereas Piaggio took the lead in vehicle sales as of Oct 23.
The sales data for 3-wheeler original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in Oct 2023 has been released by FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealership Associations). All other brands achieved favourable sales growth except “Saarthi”, which experienced a sales dip. The segment achieved 104,711 units sold in Oct 2023, marking a 45.63% increase compared to the 71,903 units sold in October 2022.

Bajaj:
Bajaj is one of the most prominent three-wheeler OEMs in the market. In the FADA three-wheeler report of Oct 2023, Bajaj sold 38,047 units, compared to 26,680 in Oct 2022. As a result, the brand observed a growth rate of 42.60%.
Piaggio:
According to the Three-wheeler sales in India of FADA, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd sold 8,227 units of vehicles in October 2023. The brand sold 5,391 units in October 2022, observing a growth of 52.61%.
Mahindra:
The brand experienced a sales growth of 41.85% in retail sales in Oct 2023. To substantiate, Mahindra sold 4,167 units in October 2022, which increased to 5,911 in October 2023.
Y.C. Electric:
Y.C. Electric sold 4,067 units in Oct 2023 within the Three-wheeler sales figure. The brand registered a hike of 29.07% as the units sold in October 2022 were 3,151.
Mayuri:
Mayuri sold 3,133 three-wheelers in the month of October 2023, compared to 1,990 units in the same month last year. The brand henceforth increased its sales by 57.44%.
Citylife:
Citylife, also known as Dilli Electric Auto Pvt. Ltd., has closed the month with a decent growth graph. The brand sold 2,186 commercial vehicles in October 2023, compared to 1,599 units in Oct 2022, for a growth rate of 36.71% in sales.
Atul Auto:
This 3-wheeler company also experienced an increase of 24.64% in its retail sales report. Atul Auto sold 2,185 units in October 2023, compared to 1,753 in October 2022.
TVS Motors:
TVS, a renowned manufacturer, also concluded the month with favourable sales figures. The brand sold 1,530 units of three-wheelers in October 2023, compared to 1,176 units in October 2022, and generated growth of 30.10%.
Mini Metro:
Mini Metro followed a positive sales trend of 13.20% in the retail sales statistics of October 2023. They sold 1,355 units in Oct 2023, compared to 1,197 in October 2022.
Saarthi:
Saarthi, or Champion Poly Plast, observed a sales drop of 4% in their Oct 2023 sales. The brand noted October 2023 with 1,259 units, whereas the units sold in October 2022 were 1,324.
J.S. Auto:
The J.S. Auto Company, too, observed positive sales growth of 40% in the Three Wheeler Sales Report in October 2023. It sold 1,089 units in Oct 2023, compared to 774 in October 2022.
All Fine Industries Pvt Ltd
All Fine Industries Pvt Ltd also experienced an increase of 72.5% in its retail sales report. They sold 1,101 units in October 2023, compared to 638 in October 2022.
SKS Trade India Pvt Ltd
SKS Trade India Pvt. Ltd followed a positive sales trend of 49.8% in the retail sales statistics of October 2023. They sold 1,043 units in Oct 2023, compared to 696 in October 2022.
Terra Motors India Pvt Ltd
Terra Motors India Pvt Ltd sold 948 three-wheelers in October 2023, compared to 741 units in the same month last year. The brand henceforth increased its sales by 27.9%.
All other brands, including electric vehicle manufacturers, highlighted a sales surge of 58.2%. They sold 32,630 units in Oct 2023, compared to 20,626 in Oct 2022.
