Mahindra Sold Unit 25,297 Commercial Vehicles In the First Quarter of FY-23

Mahindra Trucks & Buses recorded a growth of 127.67% in domestic CV sales.

Mahindra Trucks & Buses, one of the leading brands in the commercial vehicle sector, has released the sales data. The first quarter of this new fiscal year started with high hopes and ended as expected. As a result, the Brand has registered a growth of 127.67% in domestic CV sales.

The LCV<2T segment experienced a slight decline of 3%. Other than that, every segment reached good sales numbers. Mahindra is a market leader in the LCV 2T - 3.5T segment, and they showed it by selling 16,445 units, with a 22% increase. Even Mahindra sold 808 units of the LCV< 3.5T + MHCV segment but gained 89% compared to the previous year.

Mahindra strictly focuses on creating a solid infrastructure if we talk about the 3-wheeler and Electric 3-wheeler segment as we have seen the different electric vehicles from the Brand. Mahindra sold 4351 units of 3-wheelers, including electric 3-wheelers, with an increase of 103%. Last year the company sold 2148 units. 

Total exports of the Brand recorded 2798 units which were registered as 2123 units in the last year. As a result, the company created a 32% positive change in export sales in the first quarter.
