Good news for SML Isuzu, the company’s share boosted 14% after strong growth in December.
On Monday, SML Isuzu shares were high in demand during early trade. It’s all happened after the company’s monthly business updates.
According to a regulatory filing filed with BSE, SML Isuzu reported robust growth in December and the 9 months ended for the ongoing fiscal.
After the updates, SML Isuzu shares surged over 14% to Rs 724.20 on Monday, before some gains to trade at Rs 712.50 at 9.35 am.
SML Isuzu sold 701 units of autos in December 2021, showing an increment of 38% as against 509 units sold in December 2020. The company's passenger vehicle sales boosted 282% to 218 units, while cargo vehicles rose by 7%.
SML Isuzu registered 4,706 units in the first 9 months of the financial year 2021-22, up 68% as against 2,796 units sold in the fiscal year 2020-21.
SML Isuzu shares have increased over 50% in the last 1 year, while Sensex has gained only 23% during the period under review.
