Tata Motors Announces Price Hike on Commercial Vehicles From Oct 1st

In the range of 2%, the effective price hike will be performed based on the design and variant of the vehicle, the company announced.

New Delhi: Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial transport manufacturer, on Tuesday announced it would increase the price of its commercial vehicle range from October 1, 2021. In the range of 2%, the effective rate hike will be performed based on the model and the variant of the vehicle, the company said in the statement.

The statement added that the sustained rise in the cost of materials, such as steel and precious metals, call for the company to pass on the part of it through an increase in the price of the products, the release added. 

The company has further aimed to minimise the increase in the price by absorbing a particular portion of the cost at different levels of manufacturing. Additionally, the statement said that Tata Motors continues to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership for its clients and fleet owners.
