New range of trucks - Helps to reduce the ownership cost
Tata Motors recently introduced future-ready trucks, with GVW ranging from 1-tonne to 55-tonnes. The vehicles are powered by efficient drivetrains with futuristic design language engineered to cater to various market demands.
The new range of trucks will address industry-specific applications in each segment, such as M&HCV, I&LCV, SCV, PU, and commercial passenger vehicles.
According to Tata Motors, the new range of trucks will help reduce the total cost of ownership to all users, including fleet operators, mid-size, and small transport operators, by providing higher than before vehicle performance through enhanced features, synchronised service intervals, and improved overall vehicle efficiency.
Speaking about the redefined transportation, Girish Wagh, President of Commercial Vehicle Business Unit at Tata Motors, said, "Post the migration to BS-VI emission norms, the Indian auto industry is adhering to norms that compare with the best international standards. Being the industry leader, Tata Motors has used this migration to go beyond just the compliance of these norms. We have created new paradigms of productivity, functionality, performance, comfort, and connectivity in our vehicles".
Tata Motors's extensive service and dealership network is also gaining momentum, with more than 2,600 touch-points across India with service facilities at every 62 km. The network is manned by trained specialists and uses genuine Tata parts. Tata Motors also offers various fleet management solutions, vehicle care programs, and annual maintenance packages for commercial vehicles under the Sampoorna Seva 2.0 initiative.
Tata Motors also offers 24x7 roadside assistance for all vehicles under warranty through its Tata Alert program and ensures all vehicles damaged in accidents and covered under Tata Insurance are repaired within 15 days under the Tata Kavach program.
