The ILMCV Trucks & Passenger Carriers segments of the brand closed the month as the highest gainers, with 6% & 4% growth, respectively.
Tata Motors, one of India's largest CV manufacturers, has released its sales for November 2023. The company witnessed a 3% sales decrease in the domestic market. Tata closed the month by selling 26,579 units of CVs against 27,430 units in November 2022.

HCV Category (Heavy Commercial Vehicle)
The HCV (Heavy Commercial Vehicles) category of Tata Motors recorded a 1% hike in November 2023 sales. The brand sold 8,253 units last month, which closed at 8,194 units in November 2022.
ILMCV Category (Intermediate, Light & Medium Commercial Vehicles)
The sales of the ILMCV (Intermediate, Light & Medium Commercial Vehicles) segment of Tata Motors also ended positively. The brand had 4,385 sales units in November 2023, compared to 4,147 in Nov 2022.
Passenger Carriers (PC) Category
The Passenger Carriers section of the brand has become the constant ranker. Tata Motors sold 2,130 passenger carrier units in November 2023, compared to 2,041 in Nov 2022. As a result, the sales numbers surged by 4%.
SCV Cargo and Pickup
Tata has a good market share in the Small Commercial Vehicles cargo and Pickup segment. Furthermore, the brand experienced a -9% drop in November 2023 sales. In Nov 2022, the brand sold 13,048 units of SCV and Pickup, which decreased to 11,811 units in November 2023.
CV Exports
The performance of the brand declined in export sales as well. The brand sold 1,623 units of CV in Nov 2022, which decreased to 1,450 units in November 2023. As a result, its sales dropped by 11% this month.
