The ILMCV Trucks & Passenger Carriers segments of the brand closed the month as the highest gainers, with 14% & 43% growth, respectively
Tata Motors, India's one of the largest CV manufacturers, has released its sales for October 2023. The company witnessed a 4% sales increase in the domestic market. HCV Category (Heavy Commercial Vehicle):-
The HCV (Heavy Commercial Vehicles) category of Tata Motors recorded a 10% hike in October 2023 sales. The brand sold 10,204 units last month, which closed at 9,253 units in October 2022.
ILMCV Category (Intermediate, Light & Medium Commercial Vehicles):-
The sales of the ILMCV (Intermediate, Light & Medium Commercial Vehicles) segment of Tata Motors also ended positively. The brand had 5,351 sales units in October 2023 against 4,690 in Oct 2022.
Passenger Carriers (PC) Category:-
The Passenger Carriers section of the brand has become the constant ranker. Tata Motors sold 2,514 Passenger Carriers units in Oct 2023 against 1,759 in October 2022. As a result, the sales numbers surged by 43%.
SCV Cargo and Pickup:-
Tata has a good market share in the Small Commercial Vehicles cargo and pickup segment. Furthermore, the brand experienced an -8% drop in October 2023 sales. In Oct 2022, the brand sold 15,618 units of SCV and Pickup, which decreased to 14,419 units in Oct 2023.
The performance of the brand ended positively in export sales. The brand sold 1,592 units of CV in October 2022, which increased to 1,829 units in Oct 2023. As a result, its sales rose by 5% this month.
